Pavlovsk Palace was a gift from Catherine the Great to her son Paul, future Tsar Paul I in 1777. The place quickly took the name of Pavlovsk and enriched with many works of art thanks to the wife of the Czar, Maria Fedorovna, great lover of the arts, who was patron of many artists. Appreciate the refinement of their rooms, the harmony of colors, the elegance of its Carrara marble fireplaces, large collection of porcelain and paintings and objects of ivory.
